Advocate Call Day: February 17th!
We are thrilled to join health advocates around South Carolina for an Advocacy Call Day on February 17th!
We invite all Cover SC members, organizations, and friends of the coalition – anyone in SC – to call your South Carolina State Senator’s office on February 17th and ask them to support commonsense solutions that help working South Carolinians who earn too much to qualify for assistance but cannot afford private health insurance.

We’re Thrilled to announce our new Executive Director of Cover SC!
We are pleased to welcome Juliana Palyok as the Executive Director of Cover SC, where she is widely recognized for her exceptional leadership, organization, and advocacy. A highly effective multitasker, Juliana excels at coordinating complex initiatives, including continuing education programming and fundraising efforts that strengthen both the organization and its mission.Under her leadership at NASW-SC, she hosted more than 80 hours of continuing education courses in the past year alone, providing critical training and professional development opportunities for members.
We’re excited to continue working towards expanding the coverage gap under her leadership.

Thank You Richland County!
Recently we were thrilled to be recognized with our first county proclamation in support of expanding access to Medicaid in South Carolina. Thank you to the Richland County Council for the recognition and allowing us to bring awareness to the coverage gap and lack of healthcare coverage that our state is experiencing. (12/1/2025)
